It was with great joy that our President Rui Faria placed a plaque of the Avila family, who live in California. A plaque full of symbolism with much memory of his beloved parents Agostinho and Mariana Avila natural of São Jorge and emigrants in California since 1959. A journey to give a better life to their children and that now they decided to honor them with this beautiful plaque in the Emigrant Square. Congratulations
