CULTURAL FESTIVAL – EMIGRANT SQUARE

Last weekend, the Praça do Emigrante was again in great party with a lot of music, animation and good regional food, with special highlight to the famous “malassadas”.
The Cultural Party was an initiative of the Conceição da Ribeira Grande parish council and had the support of the AEAzores for the organization of lively evenings during the three days of party, in the Praça de todos nós.
In this party, that welcomed the autumn, we had the performances of different groups and local artists that brightened the event, as well as our Square, entertaining all the audience, namely: the dance group Move Dance Crew, Folklore Group of Santa Bárbara da Ribeira Grande, Tuna Com Elas, Banda Filarmónica Voz Progresso, Andreia Macário, Top Cousins, Grupo Cultural e Recreativo Domingos Rebelo, Artur Leite, TAUA, Cheila Ventura and also the traditional challenge songs. Sunday afternoon (25 September) was dedicated to children, with face painting, inflatables and the musical performance of Anderson Ouro Preto.
