“Os Açores nos Versos dos Seus Poetas, by Olegário Paz, is a collection of 400 poems by 400 poets about the Azores, Azoreans and others.

Olegário Paz, who was born on the island of São Jorge and lives in Amadora, has compiled 400 poems by 400 poets, disseminating for years, via email, the verses of Azoreans, either native Azoreans or people of affection, in a space he called Por Que Hoje é Sábado (Because today is Saturday). In the weekly and then biweekly email he would send the written poem, recited by him accompanied by music, as well as the biographical reference of the poem’s author. Now, those poems are collected in book form in this exclusive and limited edition.”
