To celebrate June 10, the AEAzores and the Canadian Embassy in Portugal organized a ceremony commemorating the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Portugal and Canada, a country that has hosted numerous waves of Portuguese emigrants since the 1950s. During the ceremony, an exhibition on Azorean Emigration to Canada was inaugurated.
The event took place at the Ribeiragrandense Theater at 6pm (AzoresTime).
