EMIGRANT SQUARE – FINAL PREPARATIONS

One week before the inauguration of the Emigrant Square, our Master cobbler Carlos Meneses is completing the most significant flags for the history of our Azorean emigration. Although Azorean emigration has touched so many other countries, such as Venezuela, Curaçao, countries in Africa, Europe, Australia and many others, the truth is that we had a reduced space for the representation of the flags and we had to select the most representative ones.
