It is with joy that we share with you the Easter decoration that beautifies the Praça do Emigrante.
An initiative of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia da Ribeira Grande with the support of the Azorean Emigrants Association, where we can appreciate a beautiful giant Easter Egg in Patchwork made by the hands of the elderly of the Day Centre of this Santa Casa.
This project aims to pay tribute to the Ukrainian people who, at this time of the year, decorated their capital, Kiev, with about fifty giant eggs made through handwork.
