The Casa Açoriana Freguesia Sant’Anna de Villa Nova receives today a Motion of Applause from the Legislative Assembly of the State of Santa Catarina, nominated by Representative Volnei Weber, regarding the 270 years of Azorean Immigration in the Freguesia Sant’Anna de Villa Nova.
This Motion of Applause extends to both the parish of Sant’Anna de Mirim, Enseada de Imbituba and also extends to all the communities where the Azoreans marked their presence in the mid-18th century.
On behalf of the Azorean Emigrants Association, we want to congratulate and thank you, as a Portuguese/Azorean association, for the work being done in Imbituba. The applause is more than deserved, and we wish you continued success!
