The Azorean Emigrants Association presents the program for the celebrations of Canada Day, which will take place on July 1, at 10am, in the Municipal Garden of Ribeira Grande.
The celebrations of Canada Day will have the following program:
- 10H – BANDEIRA DO CANADÁ – Raising of the flag at the Azorean town halls and parish councils;
10H30 – EXHIBITION “ADEUS OF SAUDADE” – itenerating photographic exhibition;
2:30 PM – MUSIC
3 PM – Azoreans in Canada – with the author of the book Azores-Canada: From the Navigators to the Azorean Communities, Eduardo Pereira Medeiros
