The Casa dos Açores do Quebec will present on May 5 (Friday), at 6:30 pm, a commemorative dinner celebrating 70 Years of Portuguese Emigration to Canada.
This commemorative dinner will include the presentation of the book “Azores-Canada” by Eduardo Medeiros, music by Jordelina Benfeito & António Horácio Melo, Rancho Folclórico Ilhas de Encanto and Filarmónica do Divino Espírito Santo de Laval and will also feature a Photo Exhibition “When I left for Canada.
This event will also include dinner (previously mentioned), which will have as a menu:
- Hors D’Oeuvres from the Azores;
Tuna and Cheese;
Octopus Appetizer;
Steak Regional Style;
Desserts from the Azores: Queijadas / Tea
