I find for this great – in every sense of the word – book, resulting from the doctoral thesis
historian and researcher Mário Fernando Oliveira Moura, a Ribeira-Grande from gem and an Azorean
who owes much to our culture and the defense of our heritage values. In good time the Câmara da Ribeira Grande decided to publish this work. For a number of reasons, including the depth and breadth of research into the early days of tea culture, the breadth of historical flows that lead us to the major events and figures of the nineteenth century, essentially those linked to agriculture and agriculture. its dissemination, and the vast bibliography consulted and in the perpetuated book that allows us to get an idea of the much that has been written in the last three centuries about the finest Azorean culture.
