The Casa dos Açores in Lisbon celebrates, between 4 PM and 6:30 PM next February 2nd (Thursday), one of the oldest traditions of shrovetide in the Azores, the “Thursday of Girlfriends”.
The Casa dos Açores in Lisbon is promoting a gathering with a snack, where friends can celebrate their ties of friendship and sisterhood, together with a cup of Gorreana tea and some malassadas/filhoses, fofas and coscorões, unequivocal references of Azorean gastronomy.
Registration for the celebration of this day will be open until January 31 (Tuesday) and can be done by emailing lisboa@casasdosacores.org or calling 929 058 803.
The number of registrations is limited to the capacity of the facilities.
The registrations for this celebration day cost 6,00 euros per person and can be made by bank transfer to NIB 001000008558489000123.
