Being an immigrant or emigrant depends on the point of view. For Azoreans, those who left for the USA, Canada, etc. are emigrants. For Canadians and Americans, the Azoreans who arrived there were immigrants.<\/p><p>Throughout human history, migration has been a constant and represents a courageous way for people to overcome difficulties and go in search of a better life!
