Our emigrants are the proof of this, and an institution that has done a lot to preserve and also study the Portuguese language in the Azores and works of azorean authors is the University of the Azores!<\/p><p>It\u2019s to highlight the many studies that have been made by this University about our azorean emigrants and their adventures through the various corners of the world!<\/p><p>This institution was founded in 1976 and consists in one of the biggest strongholds of the autonomy of the Azores and it\u2019s distributed for 3 places in 3 islands, namely in Horta (Faial), Angra do Hero\u00edsmo (Terceira) and Ponta Delgada (S\u00e3o Miguel).<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anterior Seguinte The language is a big fundamental piece to claim the Azorean Identity!
