The Regional Direction for Communities has competences in the areas of emigration, immigration and Azorean communities abroad. It is headquartered in Ponta Delgada and is part of the Vice-Presidency of the Government, also offering its own services on the islands of S\u00e3o Miguel, Terceira and Faial.<\/p>
