On Saturday of last week (June 3), the Azorean Emigrants Association was able to attend a ceremony to lay a stone in the Emigrant Square in memory of Afonso de Pereira de Medeiros and Maria da Concei\u00e7\u00e3o Cabral Carreiro, who emigrated from Rabo de Peixe in September 1982 to the city of Toronto, Canada. Present at this ceremony were the sisters Lucia and Susie, in honor of their parents.<\/div><\/div>
