To celebrate June 10, the AEAzores and the Canadian Embassy in Portugal organized a ceremony commemorating the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Portugal and Canada, a country that has hosted numerous waves of Portuguese emigrants since the 1950s. During the ceremony, an exhibition on Azorean Emigration to Canada was inaugurated.<\/p>


The event took place at the Ribeiragrandense Theater at 6pm (AzoresTime).<\/p>
