“In the year 2018, over several weeks, the newspaper “Atl\u00e2ntico Expresso”, from S\u00e3o Miguel Island, published a series of chronicles I wrote about the Viola da Terra.
Histories, characteristics, contexts, players, tunings, techniques, symbology, events, differences, similarities… this is all information that is important to make known, disseminate and discuss.
Then came the dream of gathering these articles into a book. Some chronicles were merged because they address common themes, others were revised to transmit a more current reality.
I hope that these chronicles can help to know, respect and understand a little better our Guitar and its important role in our Azorean Culture”.<\/p>
