BOOK LAUNCH \u2013 \u2018WINGS OF WONDER\u2019 | \u2018WINGS OF WONDER\u2019<\/p>

As part of the celebrations for the 175th Anniversary of Portuguese Emigration to Bermuda, it is with great joy that we present to you the bilingual children\u2019s book \u2018Asas da Maravilha\u2019 | \u2018Wings of Wonder\u2019 by Susana Amaral Pimentel and her daughter J\u00falia Amaral Pimentel, co-authors and illustrators of this beautiful project that tells us about the history of Portuguese emigration to Bermuda from the perspective of two birds typical of the Azores and Bermuda: the shearwater and the cahow. It\u2019s clearly a book written from the heart and aimed not only at the younger generations, but also at everyone else.<\/p>

We would also like to announce that next year (February 2025), we will have the honour of welcoming the authors Susana and J\u00falia Pimentel to S\u00e3o Miguel for a series of sessions dedicated to the presentation of the book \u2018Asas da Maravilha\u2019 | \u2018Wings of Wonder\u2019, which will begin in the municipality of Ribeira Grande.<\/p>
