The book Transatlantic – Azorean Migrations by Jos\u00e9 Andrade,<\/strong> of Letras Lavadas editions,<\/strong> will be launched on the island of Terceira on February 10<\/strong> (Friday), at 9pm,<\/strong> in the historic environment of Verdema\u00e7\u00e3 – Caf\u00e9, (Angra do Hero\u00edsmo).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

The cover created by Letras Lavadas publishing house,<\/strong> with a cover image designed by the Azorean Emigration Museum, depicts the embarkation from Ponta Delgada to Canada in 1954.<\/strong><\/p>

The book will be presented<\/strong> by the former director of the Azorean Government’s Emigration and Support to Azorean Communities Office, Duarte Mendes.<\/strong><\/p>
