The book Trasantl\u00e2ntico – As Migra\u00e7\u00f5es A\u00e7orianas by Jos\u00e9 Andrade<\/strong>, of Letras Lavadas editions<\/strong>, with a preface by Jos\u00e9 Manuel Bolieiro, will be launched on the island of S\u00e3o Miguel, on February 7<\/strong> (Tuesday), at 6pm, in the auditorium of the Public Library and Regional Archive of Ponta Delgada.<\/strong><\/p>

The cover, created by Letras Lavadas publishing house,<\/strong> with a cover image designed by the Azorean Emigration Museum, depicts the embarkation from Ponta Delgada to Canada in 1954.<\/strong><\/p>

The book will be presented<\/strong> by the President of the Emigrants’ Association, Rui Faria,<\/strong> and also by the President of the Azores Immigrants’ Association, Cristina Borges.<\/strong> The session will be chaired by the President of the Azorean Government, Mr. Jos\u00e9 Manuel Bolieiro.<\/strong><\/p>
